

Paper FAFSAs must be received at the FAFSA Processor no later than June 30, 2003. Applications that are started before midnight but are not completed until after midnight will not meet the deadline. Applications submitted by students via FAFSA on the Web must also be completed before midnight Central Time on June 30, 2003. Electronic transmissions or submissions that are started before midnight Central Time on June 30 but are not completed until after midnight Central Time on June 30 will not meet the deadline.

FAFSAs created by schools using EDExpress or third-party software and transmitted via the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG), as well as those applications submitted via FAA Access, must be received by the CPS before midnight on June 30, 2003.The 2002-2003 FAFSA submission deadline dates are as follows: Â Therefore, the Department advises financial aid administrators to submit electronic applications and corrections far enough in advance of the deadlines to allow for error notifications from the CPS and to make any necessary adjustments to the submissions. Â Errors in electronic submissions may cause rejection by the Central Processing System (CPS). There will be no exceptions made to these deadlines by the Department.
